1 Thessalonians

I just finished reading the book 1 Thessalonians! It was very nice! It is a short book (5 Chapters), in the new testament! Here are some of my favorite verses from 1 Thessalonians:

Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts.
1 Thessalonians 2 : 4 b

May He, as a result make your hearts strong, blameless, and holy as you stand before God our Father when our Lord Jesus comes again with all his holy people. Amen.
1 Thessalonians 3 : 13

But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected be the armor of faith and love, and wearing as our helmet the confidence of salvation. For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us. Christ dies for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever. So encourage each other and lift each other up, as you are already doing.
1 Thessalonians 5 : 8-11

Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
